2005.07.02 Saturday - Day of the wedding!              [ Link to Pictures ]

So what I didn't tell you bout yesterday was Rob (aka Bo-bo's) & Mike missed their flight. They were supposed to arrive in Philadelphia in the late evening on Friday. But, because of some difficulty, they were unable to make it. Yet, interestingly enough, Eugene (aka selfish) was able to get on the flight and make it. Hmmm...makes you wonder.

Well, I got a call from Kevin at around 3am telling me that they would be coming early in the morning and to be warned. So, grumpy and displeased, they woke me up at around 730am. We got ready for the wedding and booked it out of the hotel. I had to pick up Kevin and Jae so we had to hurry if we were going to make it by 9am like Woo had requested.

Well, we were a little late due to forgotten directions and while we were finding our way back, I got a call from Sana (the wedding coordinator). She told me that when we get to the chapel that we should go directly into the reception hall and clean up any mess that the florists leave behind. I retorted with "what the!? Aren't you paying these people and shouldn't they clean their own mess?" to which she replied that she knew and that just in case to do so because she couldn't. Why couldn't she? Because the goldfish that she was going to buy at the store weren't gold but brown so she had to go to a different store. So now I'm thinking WHAT THE?! but ok since it's Woo's day and anything to help out Woo. But seriously, c'mon. If you're planning this thing, shouldn't you have been on top of it? Originally, only a few of us were going to come out to the wedding but we came out in massive support for Woo. What if none of us were able to go? Ergh.

So, the wedding went fairly well considering all of the things that could have gone wrong. I was a horrible mc in the beginning and should have prepared some more things to say. I actually had prepared a lil tidbit to say but didn't think it was my place to say. Thinking back, I totally should have. sigh!

But all was well and well, lemme tell you a short story about Mr. Dan Huh. Actually, you know what, I'll let these pictures tell the story... Click here to see them. The jist is that it was a bet for Dan to drink all of the water and the fish for the amount of $1500.

After the wedding, we went to Twenty-21 for a private dinner and fun. Major congratulations and thanks to Woo & Francine!!!

After the dinner, the rest of us went to old town Philly and went to a bar called dreams which sucked. But poor ol Mikey. Getting action, but we forced him to leave. And sadness for Sam Kang who didn't have his ID. Although Jae had a good time with 3 African-American ladies...busting his MJ moon-walk and dancin like mad w/ them. Good for you man...
