OPM Review - Fresh off the Mei-Frower!

But yeah... I paid $10.00 and for nearly two hours of entertainment, it was well worth it. As I said before, there are twelve different sketches and they are all written by the actors and actresses from OPM. Here they are:

  • Slant Rant [Sharon Wong]
  • Good News By Connie Chung [Leroy Chin]
  • Ball-Busting Bachelorette [Melissa Chiu]
  • Love Boat [Ewan Chung]
  • Death of a Samurai [Charles Kim]
  • Mama's Girl [Maurissa Tancharoen]
  • Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You [Becky Jones]
  • Dr Foo [Pang-Ni Landrum]
  • Sweet & Sour Susie [Sharon Wong]
  • Plum Roles [Pang-Ni Landrum & Ewan Chung]
  • Everybody Loves Genghis [Russ Riggins]
  • Justrice League [Heeli Kim-Jeng]

Of the twelve, the top three would have to be: Justrice League, Love Boat, and Mama's Girl. I liked them because they were funny and developed somewhat of a story. Being short sketches, it's kinda hard to develop anything and explain anything. But these did and the cast was pretty good as well. Most of the others did but these stood out in my mind... and Dr Foo was great as well.

I'm too lazy to say much about any of the sketches, but the act that I will say a little about is the Justrice League. It's loosely based upon Austin Powers but in this one, there's a Dr White that is trying to take over the world by making everyone white. The Justrice League discover this and have to stop him. So they go out and fight him. It's a short hilarious little skit that is a solid ending to a good night of laughter.
