Guppy Teahouse There are two locations for this restaurant. Guppy I Guppy II I went to Guppy I. When we got there, it took a while to get seated. And although the decor wasn't so bad, sitting outside right next to the garbage really sucked. It smelled and had a very ghetto feel to it. Depending on what day & time you go, you might have to wait a long time. Also, if you don't like hanging out w/ teenagers or lil punks, then this definitely isn't the place to go on a weekend evening. We ordered some fruit tea and one large shaved ice with strawberries. The tea, I have to admit was really good. I took some pics of them making our shaved ice and wow. It was humungous. The great thing about them is the amount of condensed milk they put on it. Basically, you're eating sweet ice. If you like that, then this is definitely a place you should visit. I would definitely go back to this place. For shaved ice and the price you pay, it was awesome. If you want a snack, it's also not too bad. Mostly, you'd go for the ice but if you want something else, then it'd still work. Also, expect some brain freeze cuz, well, you're eating ice. |
